China has an estimated 350 nukes. Sounds like enough to ruin your day or millennium. 1 or 2 would be devastating. A dozen landing would end an empire. I am not an expert on nuclear weapons, but I think nukes go a long way.
Let’s say you wanted to nuke China. Chinese cities over 1 million population is 145. Chinese military bases approximately 50. Call it 200 sites to nuke, which is way more than enough. Triple it for failed nuke attempts and nukes not in range. That brings you to 600 nukes. Then add in 600 more in case you want to nuke Russia too, or whoever else gets in your way. Add in 300 more for good measure. I feel like 1500 would do yah? 5400 seems insane.
Should the U.S. reduce its nukes?
