Need Help. Ubiquiti G4 Pro with UNVR. What else do I need???

To preface, I am a novice to all things technology but have been trying to teach myself. I recently purchased a Unifi G4 Pro and a NVR from them to supply 24/7 coverage of my home due to recent events with a neighbor. I may have made a rash emotional purchase due to the circumstances but further research tells me I made a decent choice. Now the uncertainty and confusion. I was under the impression I could simply plug the NVR into my router and then use PoE power from the NVR into the camera itself. This does not seem to be the case, maybe?

As I dive into the online world asking this question it seems the tech jargon overwhelms me and I am lost. My further confusion is this, do I need a switch to supply the power to the camera? I ask this for a few reasons but the main one is that the NVR I purchased only has one normal looking Ethernet port and another that looks similar but different and has text reading 10g below it. So I am not sure I will have a connection point to the camera once I plug the ethernet in from the router.

Also, there is an index on Ubiquiti showing an image of a Gateway Console. What is that for? And finally, does any regular ethernet cable supply the power I will need for the camera itself?

I know this is a big setup for just one camera but I am planning for the future when I move in a few years so I can eventually have a multicam setup. I just need 24/7 stored camera footage that is clear for the time being. Long winded I’m sure but this is really hurting my tiny brain. Thanks for any help in advance.
