HAVE you ever pictured what warmonger Vladimir Putin would look like as a woman? Or what Britain’s shortest-living prime minister Liz Truss would look like as a man?

The Sun Online has had a bit of fun by checking out what the men and women who rule over us might look like as the opposite sex.

All of the pictures were made using Deep Art Effects, an app created in 2020 Akvelon.

The application allows you to edit photos by applying AI-powered filters and effects.

These include the Gender Swap GAN filter, which transforms the subject’s face to look like the opposite gender by altering facial features to look more masculine and feminine.

Deep Art is available via the web, iOS and Android applications.

Without further ado, these are the results of our gender-swapped world leaders.

VLADIMIR PUTIN

It’s been hard to escape warmongering Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin this year, as he launched a bloody and pointless invasion of Ukraine.

While the addition of lipstick and mascara appears to soften his looks, the hair could do with some work.

BORIS JOHNSON

This year has been one of ups and downs for Boris Johnson, as he was forced from office in July after a series of scandals.

His female face-swap looks unrecognisable, although the straggly blonde hair is a giveaway.

LIZ TRUSS

But when it comes to highs and lows, Boris’s 2022 pales in comparison to that of his short-lived successor Liz Truss.

She was forced to resign after just 44 days in charge in October, although her dashing male doppelganger still looks pleased with himself.

XI JINPING

Xi Jinping was sworn in for a third term as leader of China in October this year, although he has since had to contend with growing anger at his country’s ultra-strict zero-Covid policy and a sluggish economy.

His female face-swap has given him a far softer face, as well as a fetching pearl earring.

KING CHARLES

King Charles came to the throne this year at the age of 73, making him the oldest British royal to be crowned.

His female face-swap has a recognisable smile but otherwise looks very different to the new monarch.

JOE BIDEN

US President Joe Biden 80, was the oldest-ever American to be inaugurated in 2021.

As the opposite gender, he bears more than a passing resemblance to another US institution, actress Meryl Streep.

KAMALA HARRIS

US Vice President Kamala Harris has already made history as the first woman and woman of colour to serve as VP.

Her male gender swap looks very different, apart from the sweep of dark hair.

RISHI SUNAK

Rishi Sunak became Britain’s third prime minister this year when he replaced Liz Truss in October.

The new PM looks very different with a ponytail and less-bushy eyebrows.

KIM JONG-UN

North Korea‘s tubby tyrant Kim Jong-un has tried to seize back the spotlight this year with a series of bonkers missile launches.

His female face-swap is lacking the dictator’s distinctive fresh fade but has the same mouth and nose.

KEIR STARMER

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer hopes to be the UK’s next prime minister.

Sadly, judging by his party’s record, his female doppelganger is more likely to lead the party than a woman.

DONALD TRUMP
