Thai Freight Trucks Asked to Stop Running for Songkran

THAILAND – Road freight hauliers in the Kingdom of Thailand have been asked by the Department of Land Transport (DLT) to stop operations during the upcoming festival of Songkran, which this year is scheduled to run from the 13 to the 15 of April. However, in reality the celebration normally has a major build up and runs several days past the actual holiday and so the DLT has requested that road freight suspend operations from the 11 to the 17 of this month.
