Hello!
I’m having trouble finding a secure video system for a large property – some of the cameras will be 100-200 feet from the house, and I can’t run separate AC power to these cameras. I need a camera that supports power over ethernet and transmits the video feed via cable. A lot of the battery powered cameras I’ve found have a wired option but its USB which is inconvenient for long runs, and I think they still transmit video through wifi, which probably won’t work here.
If there isn’t a Homekit product that meets these specs, what other secure (encrypted) system options should I be looking at? Thank you!
