I’m looking to building a server for my home lab setup I want it to be able to run VMs, a sandbox environment for malware inspection, and have high enough GPU/CPU power to unhash/ break many algorithms with hashcat and whatnot. My goal would be to have this server at my main work station and whenever I grab a hash I can upload it to my server from my pi or mobile device to have the purpose built server go to town on cracking. Would this be useful to build, how would you go about a setup like this, is it just better to use cloud services?
