Need NVR suggestions to replace Backstreet Suveillance ProVue NVR
Are there any NVRs, other than Backstreet’s ProVue, that is compatible with their ProVue cameras?
If there isn’t a NVR that is compatible with Backstreet’s cameras, are there any suggestions on what cameras and NVR where I don’t have to tear out the soffits and redo the mounts or cabling? I inherited this Backstreet Security system and don’t have any experience setting up cameras.
It looks like EmpireTech and Amcrest turret cameras will fit in the existing mounts.
I’m experiencing significant performance issues with their NVR and their customer service response is to downscale significantly. It seems like their NVR isn’t able to handle all cameras operating at 4K and with large storage. If I try to view a replay it crashes the NVR and reboots several times. The software on the NVR seems very antiquated.
