Hi everyone, My name is Bel Trew, an International Correspondent for The Independent based in Beirut. I’ve covered events across the Middle East since the start of the Arab Spring in 2011, reporting on uprisings and wars from South Sudan to Yemen, Iraq to Syria. I’ve spent the last year reporting on the ground in Ukraine, producing hundreds of stories including uncovering potential evidence of war crimes and torture.
