Known security issues with KIA car doors ?
Hi all,
I just watched the CCTV footages of a friend who’s KIA car got broke into. Weird thing is the dude comes straight for the passenger’s backseat door. I know the car was locked because the rear-view mirrors are closed.
To me, there’s 2 possibilities. The first is that my friend locked the car before his kid closed the door, thus resulting in this door staying open while the rest of the car was closed.
Second possibility is there may be an exploit with some car models letting an intruder bypass the locking mechanism on this specific door.
