I work in a basement. I’d like to have a motion sensor at the top of the stairs that will trigger a silent light alert – basically when someone is coming down a little light flicks on. That way I can have a heads up before they get down to me, and I know when someone’s coming/browsing.

The closest thing I can find are driveway motion sensors, but those feature a chime and not a light. I guess don’t really want an “alarm,” more of just an “alert.”

Is anyone aware of standalone/non-smart options for this? Thank you!
