Aren’t there tools that say, analyze a hash to tell what type of encryption is used before actually cracking them?
Bit of a learning journey here and I’m sure very elementary, but say I have my pcap, what do you guys use to get the hash, before hashcat or rainbow? And hiw do you analyze it?
