Suspicious link sent via Steam
So I was invited to a “5v5 Tournament” by a “friend” on Steam who is either Danish or Russian.
I took the chance and joined as I have 2FA set up for everything. Sure enough after I “signed up” I was blocked by the person sending the link.
I decided to investigate further and I think there is something is a miss. The domain was registered yesterday! The link is as following:
There is some obfuscated script and strange URL parameters being used here that I don’t quite follow.
I believe this website may be set up to steal Steam account information.
Can anyone take a look and see if my suspicions are correct? Hoping another set of eyes on this will help..
