Help finding a home security system for a first time user

The amount of information out there is overwhelming and I would really appreciate some help.

I’m ideally looking for: – Four or 5 cameras, one outdoors – Pan and tilt – 24/7 video recording – No subscription – View remotely though a mobile app – Video doorbell – Under $700 – Absolutely no companies participating in Uigher human rights abuses (Dashua/Lorex – I was ready to get Lorex before I learned about that)

I have a technical background but am not well versed in network security so I don’t know how to protect an NVR or cameras over the network and not sure where to learn.

Wyze cams look too good to be true – what’s the catch? Is this impossible to accomplish? Any information is helpful.

Need Battery Powered WiFi Enabled Security Cameras that Continuously Record to an SD or MicroSD Card

I am not interested in a cloud-based subscription for security cameras. I purchased two Geeni Freebird cameras that have MicroSD slots but I can’t figure out how to get them to continuously record to the cards. These cameras are battery powered and last up to three months on a rechargeable battery. I see so many cameras that are basically worthless in terms of saving video unless you pay for a monthly subscription. Are there any options out there that fit my needs?
