Hi all!

I have a very specific need for a door/window alarm and I’m having a very, very difficult time finding what I need no matter how much I search. I’m hoping maybe someone on here will know where I can find what I’m looking for, or have suggestions.

We have a lower cabinet that we need to put a door/window alarm on due to the contents, and due to my husband just having a difficult time remembering to close it after opening it. Moving the contents isn’t an option, we’ve tried a lot of things so this is the next step.

All the home door/window alarm sets we find only allow for entry/exit delays. I specifically need an alarm that will allow me to delay the alarm for X amount of minutes/seconds (preferably anywhere from 3-5 minutes) and then NOT require us to disarm the alarm if it is closed before said delay time is up. I want us to be able to access the cabinet, close it after a couple minutes, and nothing happen, but if it’s left open past the say 5 minute delay, an alarm goes off.

The alarm needs to have adjustable volume/tone so it doesn’t scare our pets, as I’m expecting my husband to set it off quite often lol.

We also need it to send notifications to our phones so that the alarm doesn’t need to be super loud.

Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions anyone has! We’ve already tried a random set found on Amazon, where the seller specifically responded saying we could do all this, but turns out we can’t actually delay the alarm without needing to disarm like they said we could… Sigh.
