An ADT sales rep just offered to pay for equipment and installation as long as we advertise on our front lawn. Is this legit or even a good deal?
My wife and I are new homeowners and an ADT rep just knocked on our door. Since there are a lot of other security services in our neighborhood he said that as long as we advertise the ADT sign in our front lawn they can install a camera doorbell plus at least one security camera in our front lawn or back lawn. Additionally there’s some type of control system that’s going to be installed near one of our more active doors. I believe he said the only thing that we had to pay for was just the general ADT subscription package
I told him to wait and come back on a different day when my wife was home so that it was a decision we can make together. Is this something that has happened to anyone here, is this a legitimate thing? What should I expect with this?
My wife is very much in the market for some type of at least camera doorbell system and this seems like a okay idea.
