FOX 10’s Nicole Garcia is looking into two Valley fires Wednesday morning that sent plumes of smoke into the air and shut down roadways. One of the fires was near Loop 101 and SR 51, and the other was at Elliot and Sossaman Roads.

The Arizona Superintendent of Public Schools Tom Horne is estimating close to a hundred thousand applicants to the current voucher program, and the move could cost around $900 million of taxpayer money. FOX 10’s Marissa Sarbak has the story.

A Florida man reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel while on Interstate 95 in Brevard County over Memorial Day weekend, blocking traffic in the area. His vehicle was still in drive and his foot was reportedly on the brake.
