Hi folks,

I had an awkward encounter with a guy deliver my groceries who tried to hit on me. I’m really put off by a dude coming to my home and behaving unprofessionally with zero thought about how his behavior might impact the person he’s inflicting it on. I’ve been researching cameras all day and feel like I’m chasing my tail. There are so many options, it’s overwhelming. I was hoping to find some guidance from the fine folks of this sub.

Here are my needs:

• No spot/flood light necessary – I’m on the 2nd floor in an apartment complex and my porch is well lit
• $200 is the max I can afford, preferably less
• Wireless
• Motion sensor
• I like the idea of the two way voice feature, but it’s not a deal breaker
• I’d like to be able to view my front door from my phone, but…
• I’m opposed to the authorities having access to my data without my consent

I ordered a Ring Spotlight Cam Plus, and then cancelled it because I got squiged out about Amazon doing whatever they want with my data.

I’m grateful for any advice about brands/models I should look into.
