I was about to pull the trigger on Google Nest Products starting with the Doorbell and Lock.

However, my front door leads out into my front patio where we will be a lot. So, I was thinking will I be getting a ton of notifications of just myself? From what I have read, you can train the nest doorbell to recognize faces, but you can’t tell Nest not to notify you based on those faces. As a compromise I was thinking I could just put notifications on a schedule. But I guess you can’t do that either.

Can anyone recommend a doorbell that might work for my situation? I like the idea of getting a notification, however i’d like the ability to exclude myself, or put them on a schedule of some sort.
