Does anyone know anything about iMessage spoofing? I received three disturbing iMessages last night from different numbers. All texts/iMessages I receive show up in my mobile provider’s text log online. None of the phone numbers that texted me appear in this log. I’ve also extensively searched for the owners of these “iMessage numbers,” who are all people I have no connection to, and all live in different parts of the US. I’m having trouble figuring out if this is bots spoofing numbers to scam me; or if there is a specific person targeting me using iMessage spoofing, which would surprise me because I thought that was impossible… Any input is appreciated. submitted by /u/suspicioushit |
