So for context, just caught my neighbor trying to shoot rabbits in my backyard. We live in a typical neighborhood where all the houses are close to each other. It was a bb gun after I found out but I did confront the neighbor the next day about not shooting into our backyard. Talked to the game warden, it is highly illegal for him to do that, especially going after wildlife. Long story short I should have just called the police because the neighbors wife got highly defensive and first denied it (she was outside when it happened). Then said she told him later not to do that and then ended it with, he was just having a bit of fun…wtf. I told her well, have fun in your own yard. They HATE wildlife, which I don’t know why they moved out here because we are borderline in the country. They spend so much time and money to keep wildlife out and now they are upset that rabbits moved in under MY shed. By the way, the rabbits are more my problem than their’s because they moved right beside my garden…lol…but i just let them go, they haven’t harmed my garden and I like seeing them out and about.
Anyway, the confrontation went bad and they made past comments about my dogs, I have 2 basset hounds that don’t spend much time outdoors because the prefer the comfort of the couch but when they go outside sometimes they bark and they have that deep hound bark. But it only last for a couple of minutes…they are dogs, they bark. Her dogs are not allowed to bark…whatever.
So now we are looking at ways to protect our property. We locked our gates and now looking for cameras for outdoors. But to tell you the truth, can’t spend much money so need good recommendations. Also, need something that doesn’t run off wifi because I need to set these up in the backyard and our wifi connection drops all the way in the back. Any ideas? .
