First Time DIYer
Howdy. Recently got into a new place and had a preinstalled ADT/SafeHaven smart panel, doorbell, and Alexa installed for security/smart home purposes. Didn’t want to pay $50 a month for 5 years so now the doorbell and panel don’t work. I want to get another smart panel (as all of our switches and lights are smart capable) that doubles as a security panel I can install myself. Would probably start off with a doorbell cam, outdoor cam, and indoor cam. House is wifi capable and I can use the cloud. Just wanted some personal opinions on going through SimpliSafe or Alarm.com or other DIY options for the smart home/security capabilities. Thanks!
