Securing garage door keypad with camera?
Hello,
My garage has a garage door keypad on the side of the garage door frame. I’ve noticed that someone has been removing the lid from the keypad regularly, so I’d like to catch them in the act.
I’ve had a few ideas that might work, but I’m not sure which would be best. One option would be to place a small camera right above the keypad, so I could see their face. However, I also want something that will scare off the assailant. I could also use a camera that has a flood light and a 2-way call system, but this likely wouldn’t let me see the assailant.
Do you have any suggestions for how I could use a camera to catch the threat actor?
