Change existing keypad and add cloud access to existing late 90’s alarm system?

Greetings,

I’m looking for some advice on options to upgrade a late 90’s ADT installed alarm system. The alarm isn’t currently under contract with any relay company but was tied to ADT with the previous home owner. The system has two wired keypads, wired siren, box with antennas, 2 wired door contacts and many wireless window switch contacts.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to replace the keypads since several of the buttons require a hard press and “wiggle” to activate them
  2. Would it be better to replace the board in the panel and the keypads while re-using existing contacts as an upgrade
  3. I’ve seen some posts for Eyezon and Konnected, would either of these solutions work with the existing panel and/or combination with #1, which is better and why?
  4. Can I add a motion sensor to the existing system?

I’m technical and very comfortable with DIY projects, have done some low voltage cabling and light electrical work and would be planning to do the alarm work myself. I’m pretty sure I have the technician code for this panel as well and had re-programmed an old ADT panel to AlarmRelay.com in the past so I have some basic knowledge of how to navigate through programming from the keypad; though if serial, telnet or other interface on the panel is an option, that would would be more preferable.

I also run SmartThings at home so if consolidating hardware is an option, that would be great to have too.

Here are some pictures of the equipment: https://imgur.com/a/18LPAn0

The AC adapter looks a bit worrisome, is there something better I can buy to replace it?

Thanks in advance for your advice
