Dashcams as surveillance cameras? Recommended camera for my use case?
Basically I want a good camera that records 24/7, has an internal battery in case it gets unplugged during an incident, and has some kind of indicator light to make sure the Microsd is recording like it should. What is the most reliable Microsd I can get for it and I’d like to know what camera would be best for me as my cabin has no WiFi or internet so that’s why I think a dashcam would be better. I just want one that’s easy to interface with like when you set it up you can see where the cam is pointing and if it’s recording like it should. With smart cams like Eufy if they lose internet for an extended period they basically become paperweights so if someone breaks into your home during a long period of no internet tough luck.
