I decided to finally start reading up on computer networking and I noticed that in addition to an IP address, we have a Media Access Control address, which identifies the computer itself. So my two questions are: 1.) What can some computer literate dork do with someone’s MAC address? 2.) Since multiple machines are usually connected to the same IP, would some FED or mischievous hacker be able to find your location and/or gain remote access upon finding your MAC address?
