Hi,
I am completely new to home security (though otherwise tech savvy) and would appreciate suggestions for putting up a two-camera system to monitor the exterior of my back fence.
Here are the features I’m looking for in order of priority:
1. Discrete though not necessarily hidden. Definitely not one of those old-school big, noticeable cameras. Each would need to be mounted on top of a 4×4 post.
2. Panoramic coverage while also covering as much of the ground beneath the posts as possible.
3. NOT storing or otherwise connecting to the cloud. Though I would like the cameras to connect to my home wifi router while also storing the images on a home computer also on the wifi network.
4. Solar powered, though perhaps that’s too much to ask for.
My thought is two of those cameras that look like crystal balls.
Anyway, I would appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction, whether its particular hardware or other resources/web sites.
Thank you!
