POE camera that does not require a power/LAN splitter
Hey all, looking to get a POE camera system setup using Shinobi. I’m having a hard time finding a true POE camera, one that does not require a splitter like this to connect to a separate 12V barrel plug on the camera itself.
First I tried this Amcrest, and it’s labeled as “POE” but actually requires a splitter, also tried this Hikvision and same thing.
I don’t necessarily require a turret-style camera, just like the look, open to suggestions. Is there a specific thing I need to search for to make sure I’m getting only true POE devices and not ones with the separate barrel connector?
