I recently purchased a new home. The previous owner had ADT and left the panel/sensors at ADT’s request. From reading, I do not plan on using ADT and I’m guessing the panel (Total Command) is useless to me.
The IQ Panel 4 has piqued my interest and seems to be recommended frequently. I do prefer the DIY side of it but I do not want to deal with a wiring a system.
Is there anything I need to know regarding the panel? It seems to offer a lot of options overall.
I have not looked at which sensors the ADT system uses yet but would it be possible they would be compatible?
I’m looking at purchasing it at Surety and going with alarm.com. Is this the correct route or are there better options?
