My workplace has a DSC Maxys 4020 system (version 3.5) divided into two partitions with two 4580 door access modules. Currently 3 exterior doors can be unlocked and the system disarmed with key fob readers. (Two doors are for the shop area, and one door for the office.) We have a fourth exterior door into the office that we want to have key fob access that unlocks the office door and disarms the entire system (shop and office)

I have the reader, door lock, and door sensor wired up and all of it is working as expected, but I cannot get the office partition to disarm when a key fob is presented to the reader. The door will unlock, the door sensor will signal that the door opens, but the partition remains armed. I’ve been through the 4820 module settings and the door definition settings, and everything is set identically between the current office door with fob reader that works, and the settings for the new door that will not disarm the system.

Has anyone encountered something like this before with the Maxsys systems? Any suggestions of what to try?
