See attached video for reference. So a few days ago, my sister started hearing noises coming from her laptop from what seems to be an Indian guy trying to communicate. It isn’t recording or a pop-up ad because it’s responding to my sister and even seems to be taunting her. As you can see in the video, there aren’t any tabs open except from the pdf that she’s reading on the browser. Have you guys encountered anything like this? I would love to know the best course of action. Should we just remove her SSD, wipe and buy a new one. Or is there anything else we could do to stop the hacker from getting in to her laptop. This is really creepy. I’m quite tech savvy myself but never ever heard situations like this before. Any input would be much appreciated. Also, can anyone translate what the dude was saying. Thank you
