So today I was playing games n suddenly I got a phone call as “private number” I picked up the call thinking it might be one of my known ppl who might be in an emergency. As soon as I picked up the call a woman started to talk to me”hi I’m working for a phone promotion program and we would like to know which phone Ur using” I cut the call assuming it might be a scam.
After 2 min another private number called me n I could tell it’s the same woman but this time she used one of my friends name (let her name be X for the time being) she goes like ‘ hi I’m X call to inform u about phone promotion. I felt a chill through my spine. Can anyone tell me how this happened?
