Learning Hacking Offline

TL;DR: looking for recommended tools/books/resources to learn webapp hacking somewhere with no internet.

Hey all, So I’m going to be in a bit of an interesting situation. Due to the nature of my work I will occasionally be traveling to places where internet will not be available, anywhere from a few days to a couple of months. I have a simple laptop i am going to use for studying webapp hacking as it’s a skill I recognize I need to, and strive to improve on. (Laptop has 256GB SSD, 20GB RAM, and I load my vms on a separate external 2TB SSD.)

I have a digital copy of the Web Application Hackers Handbook V2 and Bug Bounty Bootcamp. My vms right now include a kali instance with juiceshop installed via docker, and metasploitable2, as I’ve seen it has things like mutillidae, phpmyadmin and DVWA which I’ve heard are good for learning.

My only non kali-native tools I have installed is gospider, which I really love, and OWASP ZAP, since i thought it would be a nice change of pace from Burp just for the sake of something different.

I’m just curious if there are other tools I should install and practice with, and what might be good resources for me to get before I travel?

Any and all help would be appreciated!
