I want to get her one for her front door area. Ideally easy wireless setup and good enough video quality to be able to get a positive ID on someone, while hopefully being as affordable as possible. Also need to be able to save video for the possibility of taking it to the police.
She lives out of state and a crazy ex-bf is harassing her. She has a restraining order on him but he keeps showing up to her house. He was violent during their relationship. He sounds so crazy that I fear he may just break or steal the camera if/when he sees it. So it would have to be some type of setup where if that happens, she still has the video of him doing it. That’s possible, right? I don’t know much of anything about security cameras.
I’ve been looking on Amazon but there’s so much to consider and Amazon apparently doesn’t have the Q+A section on products anymore.
I think I can scrape together about a $200 budget. I was looking at Eufy cameras but then I started reading some bad things about them.
