Recently took over an office and noticed they have a few dome cameras left over. I am a beginner in all of this and tried my best to find the make and model, but it doesn’t bring back anything specific. Not sure how to identify if they are POE. I did find a huge nest of unidentified ethernet cables in the front desk which I hope can get more information if I plug it into an NVR.
Any suggestions on how to go about trying to salvage these cameras?
There seems to be various models of cameras, here are the camera pictures: https://imgur.com/a/FJXVZ8k

Our current system now is approximately 30 years old. It’s programmable and has sensors on the doors and windows, with a red light that shows which ones are open.
We’d like to have a system that would notify us via a push notification on our phones, as the panels for the security system are either in the master bedroom, by the front door, or by the garage door. The only time we heard the system make a noise was when the power went out.
I’ve read on here that switching to a wireless system (like Ring) would be a downgrade from a hardwired system.
There is a security company near us (Vector Security) that could set up an alarm.com system, however I’ve also read it’s bad to have a contract for monitoring?
We also do not have cameras and are thinking about getting some, but are unsure of what brand to use.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a new hardwired system? We most likely would get it professionally installed as we don’t have experience doing something like this ourselves.
