I had a local AV company wire my home with a bunch of ethernet drops and 5 for POE cameras around the outside of the house for an agreed-upon price. I already had purchased the cameras, so I asked if they could mount those as well, and I stupidly did not ask for a new quote for the additional service. Two of the cameras are very high up (roughly 20 feet) while the other 3 were about 8-10 feet up on the house. I just got the invoice and they’re charging 1500 for installation of the 5 cameras. Does this seem reasonable? I just have no idea what that’s supposed to cost. And yes I know, I should have gotten a quote beforehand.
