Hi. I’m looking to get a floodlight driveway camera. It would be my first security feature. I want to test the waters with a system that I could pay for the “24 hour professional monitoring” thing eventually, so that if necessary police, fire, or whatever can be contacted.

I also have a nascent homeassistant.io setup but just with one light hooked up to the app, and not even on a dedicated computer yet, just the docker image running on my primary desktop. I’m not against keeping my homeassistant.io tinkering separate from the security for now. The eventual “professional monitoring” is more important for my spouse.

Are there any combinations that offer the professional monitoring plus homeassistant.io integration? And then on top of that, a decent floodlight from said company? Future security additions would be 3 external door cameras, doorbell camera maybe, and some number of window sensors less than 10. I’m not against running more ethernet for all that but for now I just want a floodlight that I can monitor while at or away from home

it sort of sounds like the Arlo community is up in arms about ToS changes, and also customer support sounds bad.

Wyze might work? looks like they have pro monitoring and maybe homeassistant.io integrations?

Reolink products look nice but I dont think they offer monitoring, more of a comprehensive DIY?
