It has worked fine for a while, but have since added some cameras farther away and moved the base station. Two of my cameras lose connection randomly, and one of them (camera 1) causes the base unit to beep extremely annoyingly when it loses signal. I obviously want them all to stay connected, regardless of which ones cause it to beep.

I want to extend the range of the NVR wireless, but I can’t really move the base station one way or the other or it wont reach the other end. Is is possibly to extend the wireless – such as using a wifi extender to cover dead spots from a router? I have an extender, but don’t know the password of the NVR wifi to try hooking the extender up to use for this.

Does anyone know how to find the password to the NVR wifi so I can try connecting an extender? Or how to extend this some other way?

I also saw there is a ‘repeater’ function on the ‘video manage’ screen. Does this mean I can set up a camera to piggyback off another camera that is closer and has a good connection? This would also probably work if I knew how to set it up.
