I simply want to go from a power supply, preferably a standard 120v outlet to a switch to the lock. Wiring in the switch and all that is easy enough for me. However I don’t know for sure what I need to power it from an outlet and don’t to risk damage/fire/injury by buying and installing the wrong item. I don’t know if I care about using a battery back up, but if it isn’t too much of trouble knowing which battery I should use would also be helpful.
Please let me know if you have any questions that I didn’t provide answers to. Also thank you for any help and replies.
