Hello, hoping for some advice on a decent camera to set up pointed out front of my apartment. I’ve tried searching a bit, but the options are a bit overwhelming and I can’t seem to find anything that’s really an exact fit for what I want. It’s a 2nd floor apartment with a third floor, so I considered having something set up inside and facing out the window. Currently set up a small webcam there facing the street, but the picture quality isn’t the best and I can’t pick up anything once the sun’s down. I’m mostly interested in covering where my car is parked and potentially the front entrance to the stairs where I enter the apartment. Some things I’m looking for:

• “Night vision” without needing a spotlight
• Ability to access via app or web
• No subscription preferably
• Decent picture quality (4k would be great, but 1080p is fine)
• Recording capability
• Storage on an SD card is fine, I’d probably only review the recordings if something happened.
• Preferably no notifications or ability to turn them off for certain hours as it’s a well foot-traveled street.
• Power: Battery or wired should be fine either way.
• Cost: Below $100 ideally, but if that’s impossible I’m open.
