One thing to another I came across this bug report from the Google Security Team, detailing using TPView.dll to gain code execution on a Host machine when attacking from Guest OS using VMware. The attack vector mentions EMR records, but I cannot find any information about what these records are. Maybe this is a stupid, simple, and very basic question, but I’m really curious and this seems like the best place to ask.
