I purchased a Lorex system earlier this summer (big mistake). The NVR is a hot mess (the operating system is corrupt, it cannot connect to the internet, and I cannot adjust the camera settings from it).
However, the cameras do work well enough that I could get by IF I could send alerts to my phone and get the night vision working. Is it possible to do all of this without an NVR or DVR?
I am a beginner at all of this and I am in over my head. I’ll welcome any thoughts.
