Home Security Research

Hi Everyone,

I’m currently in the process of buying a new house (UK based), and I have been doing a little research on home security. However it appears the market is a complete minefield so ideally I’m looking for any personal opinions and reviews on systems you have or have seen.

Ideally my system would tick all of these boxes:

  • Be able to activate / deactivate via app (smart system)
  • External camera’s
  • Internal motion sensors
  • Phone notifications when triggered
  • No monthly subscription

So far, the two that stood out were Simplisafe and Eufy but I believe the simplisafe one requires a subscription to have notifications and remote activation.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Thank you

Multiple Sony DVD-based video recorders store footage captured by cameras, audio recorders by high-end equipment brand Marantz capture sounds, and time and date generators sync gathered media up for accurate analysis. Circling back around to audio, this van features seven different audio inputs including a body wire channel…
