I keep looking, researching, off and on, and thought I’d just post here.

Does anyone know of any home security type cameras that might meet these specs?

• Not owned by China – not saying not built there, but by a business not owned / HQ’ed in China.
• Wireless with decent/good/great battery life.
• Features at least equivalent to Blink, but with faster response (non-subscription-response) – when on Subscription, not too bad, but they get TERRIBLY slow at times when you’re dealing with local recordings/connection.
• Better motion detection than Blink – It seems all too often, it picks up nothing even if someone is right in front of it. Other times, it’ll get tripped by a wasp. Sometimes it works like expected, but not consistent.

I really do like the Blink cameras for ease of setup. I literally just pop in the battery, place it in a location (or put on a mount), and walk away, configure via software unless I really want a different angle on camera.
