Partner has PTSD/panic episodes, I need to figure out how to secure my bedroom door

Hello. My partner has military PTSD/panic and will sometimes have episodes that lead to them break into my bedroom at night. Yes, they are getting treatment but it still happens.

I sleep with a chair against my door handle, a infrared motion sensor alarm, and usually a door brace (like this) installed. However, none of these reliably keep them out and just sort of “slows them down”.

I have a standard interior door with an allegedly lockable handle and have carpet in my bedroom. What other thing can I use to reliably keep my door from being able to be opened from the other side and isn’t easily bypassed? I’m not allowed to install deadbolts, unfortunately. Thanks.
