Smart security install with push notifications on a new home build

TLDR: installing new home security system, planning on Honeywell Vista 21i + Home Assistant with EnvisaLink so we can be notified without monthly subscription. Is this logical for a new build or is there a better solution?

I’ve gone down a few sub rabbit holes, but was hoping could get some reassurance from all you fine redditors. understand that the Honeywell Vista line isa tried and true hardware, but am anticipating using Home Assistant for a bunch of other items of my home and believe that the security system should definitely be one of them. I’ve been directed to EnvisalLink and believe that with the Vista 21i, it will take care of our general security needs which include the following devices (already wired with 22/4):

Exterior doors, windows sensors Interior door sensors (for a few sleepwalking children) Glass break sensors Garage door sensor Leak detection sensors Smoke/CO detectors via relay plan to install keypads at points of entry and near our master bedroom for general “traditional/analog” access/control.

Elsewhere in the home will be a few tablets (as well as obviously our smartphones) with HA kiosks that expect view, monitor, silence, control the security devices.

I also intend on running Cat6 to each of the entry points so I’m (maybe?) future-proofed should I want to use a different endpoint down the road. The EnvisaLink will feed back to a network hub via Cat6 from the security panel. The intention is to have HA push notifications to our various endpoints as the Vista wired-connected devices are triggered. Is this a reasonable approach?

I’m also considering EnvisaLink’s LTE product as a backup notifier should my home lose Internet service.

May explore Konnected a bit more, but it seems if am wired as described above, I believe have flexibility, though am happy to be corrected if not.
