I met this nice guy with alias FX a couple of times and we talked about his life and his history. He told me many stories and anecdotes from the last decades and also promised me to give me some intros into reverse engineering etc.
Personally I see a lot of similarities to the now emerging field of quantum computing. It may get hyped like crazy but the fundamentals are so prettily simple. The systems are small enough so that you can still understand them, how they work etc in detail. I really wanted to go into computing/IT but the field is so darn complex. It is a miracle that these systems even work the way they are supposed to be. There are tons of abstraction layers between the binary level and whatever stuff you run on your computer. It will probably never seize to amaze me! <3
