Apologies if this is the wrong sub – if so I’d appreciate if you could point me to the right place.

Home was recently broken into and they stole two gaming consoles, one in my living room and an older one that was in a hall closet. However they passed up several valuable items (headphones, router, laptop) that were in plain sight, within arms reach of the two consoles. Why is that? I understand consoles are commonly stolen but the fact they ignored other small valuables puzzles me.
