So I had this brilliant idea to remove this old ADT panel from my wall in the closet (want to clean it up) and make space for a network switch and some updated PoE cameras in the future.
I got a QolSys Panel and migrated to self monitoring. Seems like the previous owner used ADT. There are a bunch of wires going to this honeywell panel as you can see here (this is a Honeywell 5800C2W), this converts all hard wired sensors to wireless for my QolSys panel. I never had to touch this honeywell:

My question is do I need to keep track of where each one of these senors are screwed into the honeywell?
Here you can see I started ripping apart the box I thought I can bend it with a pliers, but that didn’t work out. Maybe it might be easier to purchase a reciprocating saw and attempt to make a cut and extract the panel that way? This way I don’t have to disconnect all these wires
