I’ve heard of gas pump skimmers (i.e. man in the middle for the swiper), but I haven’t heard of getting free gas. Here’s the news story – https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/2018/07/05/men-hack-into-pump-at-detroit-gas-station-steal-600-gallons-of-gas/. Does anyone know high level how this works? I can’t imagine you could do it remotely over bluetooth.
