Just installed the Envisalink 4 into my Honeywell Vista 20p panel and it seems that the communication between the app and the alarm ceased working. The panel says “BF” on it and according to ADT there’s a “communication error”. For a brief period of time I was able to arm the alarm from app but it wasn’t reporting that it was armed, it would just say “arming…” and then say “disarmed” but the actual panel itself was armed. They had me go through a reset process which consisted of unplugging the panel and backup battery but that doesn’t seem to have done anything. I’m thinking that the Envisalink 4 is the culprit. I’m not sure if after adding the Envisalink that disconnects the communication via the app and this is the correct behavior.
Can anyone who has both help? Otherwise maybe someone might know what the “BF” error is and how to fix it?
